Upcyle
Upcycle was a one week project, were we had to give an old furniture a new life.
I got a sofa that the secondhand store couldn´t sell. I took it apart and used the
pieces to create a totally new piece of furniture. Some pieces were not modified at
all (I used them as I found them) and some pieces were modified to fit the chair.
The back legs turned into the rockers and the bars from the back rest ended up as
“legs”. The result is an improvisation. The piece is made without prior sketches.
